ABOUT LORENZO
Lorenzo Casati, hailing from Como, Italy, was born on November 25, 2005, and presently calls El Medano, Tenerife, Spain his home. He relocated to Tenerife with his family when he was 11 years old and unearthed a fervent interest in kitesurfing, under the tutelage of his father, Renato Casati, an esteemed figure in the realm of kitesurfing.
Despite his proficiency in various sports during his upbringing in Italy, Lorenzo's commitment to kitesurfing propelled him to remarkable achievements. At the age of 15 in 2021, Lorenzo left a lasting impression in international kitesurfing competitions, clinching 4th place in Spain and claiming the title of Spanish champion. Additionally, he secured a 2nd place finish at the Cold Hawaii Games in Denmark.
In 2022, at just 16 years old, Lorenzo ascended to become the world's premier kitesurfer, triumphing in prestigious competitions such as the RED BULL "King of the Air" in South Africa.
Beyond his athletic pursuits, Lorenzo harbors a deep passion for environmental sustainability. He envisions a future where he can actively contribute to ethical conservation efforts, particularly within the realms of kiteboarding and marine activities.
